Just got back from the asylum
Thanks to all who have replied to smows thread, tried to reply last night but wifi was iffy.
Mental health care is abysmal but despite that I'm glad to be back home and actually feel a bit better and more positive now even though ive got a few issues to deal with.
Actually got more support from the other inmates....sorry I meant patients, lol. Funny how people from all walks of life can bond through been in an institution together.
But many many thanks to all on here who have never judged me but rather offered support and well wishes. I appreciate it more than you know.

Nice to see you back. What's your way forward now - have you been offered any support or any you just expected to get on with it?
You've missed an opportunity, Nailit!

When my aunt was a voluntary patient in a psychiatric hospital she met her future husband there. So where's your fiancée, then?

;-)

[Oh, welcome back, BTW!]
Welcome back and I hope you find a way through to a better place.x

sherrardk, I was supposed to have met with a member of the home treatment team before discharge but you wont be surprised to know that they never showed. Was told that my numbers been passed on so see if they ring. Have an appointment with mental health clinic on Friday.

Buen, unfortunetly I was in an all male ward (and I didn't fancy any of them...)

Thanks mamy :-)
At least it's a cheap holiday.

Our local NHS have sold much land around our local psychiatric hospital. It is a shame as it was amazingly peaceful.

I hope they sent out off with some nice happy tablets and none of the ones that turn you into a zombie.
Hi nailit, please come on here when you need help, no one will judge you, we can offer support xx
