any one got any ideas how i can get to belgium without a passport. i applied but its not come yet. looking at a worst case senario. please help

You will not get there (legally) without a passport. 

If you phone the passport office they may let you visit personally and pick it up, or even get one done while you wait.

I did that a few weeks ago, went to Liverpool passport office and they did my passport within 4 hours (you need to contact them in advance for this).

cheers for that, i cant get one on the day because ive reported my original one lost so they wont let me do that, oh well anyone want to buy a trip to belgium, going next friday !!!!

I once went on an overnight ferry from felixstow and when I got there at about 6.30 am neither the customs or imigration people had turned up for work yet!

yeah redmug, but what if they are awake when you try to come back without a passport, then you would have to become one of the illegal immigrants that some people here rave about.  OOOPS...., damn.., slipped.,  I suppose someone will have a go at me for that.
