What a wonderful day again this year. I try not to miss it, if possible.

Love the bit where the ordinary people march past. There were a couple of interviews with bereaved families that nearly had me in tears.

And again, what a great job by the BBC !

I agree mikey and whatever your views on remembrance nobody can deny the British do it so well.

Prudie...I can't imagine any other nation doing it better !

We should be so proud !
I support both your answers. A wonderful morning today, I did weep a little bit, especially when the nephew of one of the chaps on our war memorial appeared.

I was in Whitehall at about 08:00 already suited and booted for the March Past
Had a chance to mingle before the Ceremony, and after, and I don't think I met anyone who could be called ordinary, but some very interesting people. The March Past finished Approx 13:00-13:15, so back to Kent mid afternoon.
French and the Belgies do it pretty well too, the Americans on Vet's day. I would think the Anzacs put on a good show as well.

Yes, mikey a good day and Jeremy didn't let the Labour Party down.

Evening Sqad !

As a shy and retiring AB poster, I didn't like to comment. But you are right....not a sign of a "donkey jacket" to be seen !

I am sure that if he had done anything even slightly wrong, our resident righties would have mentioned it by now !

There was a rumour he was going to wear a White Poppy, I think that might just have got a reaction.
I hate to say I immediately noticed his almost non-existent bow and thought peasant. Picky I accept.
