if you go away for more than a week, what do you witch off in your house - everything? Is there anything you keep on, like the fridge/freezer?

We leave everything on,
it would make life very difficult for the House Sitter if we didn't!

I leave the fridge/freezer on, the virgin box so I can record stuff while I'm away and also a lamp on a timer.

I switch everything off at the mains except for my fridge/freezer.
And I put my lights on a timer.

We leave absolutely everything on and put several lights on timer. It might be the one time I actually shut down my laptop.

Of course I keep the fridge/freezer on.
Keep BB on so that TV can be recorded.
Land line phone on to annoy cold callers and catch any important messages.
