Hello. I am getting married in sept, and i am looking for a short break 2/3 nights for me and my partner for a mini moon. We have a 2 year old so i dont want to leave him for longer than 3 nights if possible. But would like some alone time with my partner.
Any where in England/Wales. Cottages, log cabins, spas and hotels. We are on abit of a budget also so looking to spend around £300 at the most.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

That's a really wide brief staceyL. Can you suggest an area you've always wanted to visit or a drive time limit? Seaside or city? Hill walking or museums? Etc

Hi,we like the idea of the lake and peak district. Drive time 3 hours tops we are based in staffordshire. to be honest we just want somewhere we can relax and spend some time alone.

Aww good idea. Try googling spa hotels in Bakewell, thats a lovely area, Or cottages in Peak district. I think you'd find the lakes a bit busier than the peak district where you can get away from it all easier.

Hi, some amazing walks and mountains around me in Mid Wales. lots of lodges and B&Bs as well, quite reasonably priced as well.

I was going to suggest the Lake District or the Cotswolds. Both lovely areas and in Sept , not too busy or touristy. All the best for the big day xx
How about a log cabin (these are often large caravans clad in timber but still very well appointed) with a hot tub. These are in the Yorkshire Dales and I can personally recommend them:
