i saw this earlier, its brilliant & such a life changer -i can't imagine what that must of been like for her, to hear for the first time. technology is incredibly impressive at times

Oh, I don't know......I shed a tear the first time I witnessed the success of a cochlear implant.....

I woke up to this on the radio... too early to be almost moved to tears!
I heard this on the radio driving home last night, and even with just the audio I was getting a bit blurry-eyed.

I will wait til I get home for this, so I can cry in private.

Clicked on the video, lost interest 'cause of the advert, so not moved at all!
Its a great story. Very moving.Fantastic for her that she can hear. Saw a follow on interview with her where she was describing her feelings of joy at hearing the most mundane of sounds, and she was switching off and on the light switches to hear the click, switching taps off and on to hear running water. ;)
