Shari, if you're here at the mo ... thank you for the intro to Emilie Autumn ... well, you know, to her music. I've been glued to her live sets on YouTube since you mentioned her. I love it. She's steam punk, yes? I'm feeling more Goth every day, lol.

I'm very tempted to go and see her in September, although I'm not sure if I'm going to be around in the middle of Sept, when the gig is on. It's the day after my birthday, so I might be away with my BF. Hmm, tempting to get tickets, just in case!

So now, to include everyone else in the thread, could I throw it open as a "RECENT NEW EXPERIENCES" thread? ... music, or otherwise.

After all ... this is ChatterBank ... so we are allowed to chatter.

I thought you might like her and her witty lyrics ( my favourite is 'Marry Me' and 'Thank God I'm pretty'). Might get an accreditation for Nottingham with a bit of luck:)

It gets you the chance to photograph in the 'pit' and report on the gig. You have to do it via whatever magazine or webzine you write or photograph for. Some you get, some you don't, but I very much would like to photograph her, her live gigs are awesome:)

Yeah buy the tickets. It's nice because it's a gig where whatever you decide to dress in you can never go too far:) I'd have liked to see her in Berlin rather than Nottingham but my brother's getting married the day after the Berlin gig so not happening :(

I'm going to get a few tickets for me and some pals. Then, if I have to dip out, they can still have a night out without me.
