Ladies Drinking Beer/pints

I was brought up to think it wasn't ladylike to sup pints.
Nearest I got was a half of shandy, or half a lager top.
It just isn't right, surely?

Agree - drinking in pints or more ought to be the standard etiquette, something that Swiss finishing schools would be proud of.

Me too ferlew (brought up like that), never have liked seeing women drinking a pint, guess what is ingrained in one just makes you feel that way. I know times change but I still don't like that nor men drinking out of bottles...yuk.

Yes it's chavvy, unladylike.uncouth shows the woman's lacking etiquette and class imo, also what heffer drinks out of a pint glass? Most women with small slender waists and great figures who workout can only handle halfs and the large stomached usually overweight usually drink pints trying to be "one of the lads"

Personally i wouldn't be seen dead drinking from a pintglass or can.

Nothing wrong with a pint glass. It's the 2 litre plastic cider bottles that are a bit chavvy.

ferlew, you have no idea. Would not dream of going through all that palaver just to drink a pint. We are not dolls to be primped.

I've been to one or two do's where the bar has been packed all the time, so the people we were with brought pints of lager and beer for everyone to save going back too many times. I insisted that they bring a clean half pint glass to pour my drink into, I can't bring myself to drink out of a pint glass.
