My missus and I are going to Dublin in a couple of weeks for a long week-end. Any suggestions regarding best places to eat and drink would be great. Also, places to visit and best way to get around. Thanks. If not, three days in the Guiness Brewery could be in order!

Hi Lesisblue, Templebar is good for restaurants and night life.  Do go to the Guinness Brewery its a good tour.  Trinity College.  Grafton street for shopping. Go on a bus tour of the city.  Eating out is quite expensive here now compared to a lot of capital cities.  Malahide is nice, thats on the Northside of the city.  There are good pubs and restaurants there.
hey this may sound a wee bit daft but go into supermacs and have their hot chocolate muffin with ice cream,i cant go to dublin without going for one .

A 24 fan is not daft blueeyedlass.  Must try it sometime.

What about getting a family ticket for the dart, local rail link, and head out to Bray,Killiney etc.(beautiful coastal areas)for the afternoon.
why thank you peri yeah you got to try it they are beautiful the blueberry muffin is ok but the chocolate is excellent.
