It really depends on your skin type.  I'm a beauty product junkie but if your skin is completely different from mine the things that work for me won't for you.
chapped lips, l'occitane pure shea butter in a little tin, costs about a fiver, lasts forever. Skin, cleanse tone moisturise every day, wear sunscreen, if you use makeup. clean it all off before bed, drink plenty of water, eat a good diet, basic stuff really
red hello, how are you, nice to see you back!
Agree with Wolfgang - I always take my makeup off (even when a little worse for wear after the pub!) drink lots of water and eat plenty of fresh fruit and veg.
It is also important to stay out of the sun and not smoke as this really ages your skin.  Sometimes I think it would be really nice to have a lovely tan, but then I look at my mum who is 58 and has rarely sunbathed and she barely has a wrinkle and pretty much looks the same as 20 years ago!  There's always fake tan!

Hi woofgang - I'm okay. Stirring up trouble in chatterbank mostly. :-)

Back on topic - both woofgang and Guinevere give good basic advice that applies to all skin types.  i should add get plenty of beauty sleep!  Also you can fake a glow with Clarins Beauty Flash Balm.

cheers guys thnx for the tips :)
I think the standard is to exfoliate, moisturise etc. When it comes to chapped lips.. if mine feel abit dry I give them a gentle scrub with a damp flanel adn i use Nivea lip SOS.. it works wonders.
Healthy glowing skin - don't smoke / balanced diet / drink at least 8 glasses or water a day.
Im no expert but the minute I started toning on a regular basis my skin looked and felt much more healthy.

The best thing in the world for chapped lips is Blistex intesive moisturiser!  you get it in tescos and once you try it you wont ever use anything else!

and drink plenty of water to stop them getting chapped again
