Now, I do like to sit at the window and look out at my snow covered garden (approx 6") but it's still pelting it down and I'm getting just a wee bit sick of it. Need to go out today and the thought of having to dig my car out is very depressing. What's it like where you live?

It is snowing here in North Devon but not settled yet in my area, other parts of North Devon has snow on the ground.
No more snow overnight Im pleased to say and it does appear to be melting very slowly. I am in Hertfordshire wereabouts are you?

It's ok in this bit of Notts, yesterday was lovely, cold, clear and at times sunny. There's still plenty of snow about in the gardens and fields but the main roads are all clear and so are most of the side streets. Not seen a forecast today but if it stops like it is I'll be happy.
Just grey, dry, and cold here in Plymouth.
S. Worcs. - snowed overnight and still snowing. About 4" deep.
I'm sorry if I sound grateful,I am in the highlands of Scotland notorious for snow and we have none YET,no doubt our turn will come when yours has gone, not a prospect to look forward to,take care everyone!!
Most of the old snow has gone from here (by Heathrow) but there is the odd flake drifting down and the clouds look to be full of it.

I'm supposed to be going to Lancashire via the M40 + M6 later or tomorrow - does anyone know if those roads are clear and what the snow situation is around the Nelson area of Lancs please?

Vakayu, I'm further south in Dundee on the east coast. Perthshire and Angus seem to be the worst hit in Scotland. I'm supposed to be driving to Stafford on Friday but was considering the train. However, if main roads are clear I'll take the car. No snow in Aberdeen either where my family live!
snowing again here in the midlands :(
Just think ice in Northampton.
WE got nothing-rien-nichts-nada on the street, and a light dusting on the hills, good for driviing, but cold yet.
It's just started snowing, very light at the moment and not settling, hopefully it will stop like that.
However it must be spring because there are two pigeons getting er, 'friendly' in the garden...
They're just trying to stay warm...;-)
must be a southern thing - our birds aren't even starting to hang around in twos looking hopeful yet
Slowly melting here in York...............
maggiebee, do you mean Aberdeen in Hong Kong because the one in Scotland is covered in snow. We have cleared our paths twice today and every day for the last week.
More snow(a light dusting) overnight here in N. Wales, forecast to get warmer towards the weekend which I'm hopeful of as I've got a rugby match to referee, been too many cancelled of late due to this weather.
