Do I need a passport to fly from Florida to Virgina, Or well they just accept a school ID?

Hey,

Are you a US citizen?  Do you have your flight details?  The ticket should usually say what documents you need to bring. 

I tried to research the answer on the internet for you, but I'm not familiar with US government websites.  Most people using the AB are not from the US.  As you will have seen it's a UK site.  Everyone is welcome of course! :-D  It's just that most of us are not in/from the US.

 you  only need a passport when you leave the country not the state

I believe most airports require some sort of photo ID from passengers at check-in.  Student ID will probably suffice if it has your picture and full name.  Driver's license always works.  You don't need a passport to travel from state to state
