It's been yet another sleepless night. Don't you just love insomnia?!

Anyway it's my Dad's birthday today, so I'm cooking the family a meal and I am about to finish decorating his cake.

I made a cake once - about 30 years ago - it was so awful that there are no really adequate words to describe how bad it was. I never made another one.

Have a good day folks - I am off to reclaim my bed from that evil little tyrant that I live with, he is also responsible for me being up at this time of day. His sister refuses to get out of bed until nearer lunch time.

I once made a Mickey Mouse cake which took me till 7 in the morning, 13 hours of fiddling and making it 'just right'. I got no thanks and not even an invitation to the 'do' and she was supposed to be my friend.....beat that!

Thank you, waterboatman, the cake was of a man sitting in a chair, in stockings, a basque and high heels. He also wore make-up. Sorry if you find this offensive!

His girlfriend had requested 'something different', she loved it when she saw it, but we both agreed, it looked like our shared dentist!
