What are the plans for naming of Heathrow Terminals?

As I understand it Terminal 2 has been demolished, and a new terminal is being built to replace both Terminals 1 and 2.

At one time I heard the new terminal was being called Heathrow East, but I don't know if this is the long term plan.

Apparently Heathrow East is to become Terminal 2, and there will be no Terminal 1, unless, when a sixth terminal is built, it might make use of the Terminal 1 name.

So they will have four terminals called 2,3,4 and 5!

Manchester Airport used to have terminals A, B and 2.

I think they have seen sense now.
