I am off to Malta tomorrow and have organised a cab to take us from the airport to the resort.

I have been given the driver's number in case I get delayed in customs.

Now - not all up with codes etc so when I get there what part of the number below do I ring?

+356 994 12345

(thats not the real number at the end - just the front bit)

Cheers

i was just about to say youve been given a fake number, when i saw the end of your post!
If using a mobile, all of it
As Vallaw says, if you're using a UK-registered mobile you dial exactly the same number that you would from the UK, i.e.the whole of the number you've quoted. (The call is still routed via the UK and you'll pay your international calling charge). Mobile phones should have a + key somewhere. (With my Nokia you double-click the * key to get +). Otherwise replace the + with 00.

If you're dialling from a landline phone (or from a Malta-registered mobile) just dial 994 12345. (In most countries you'd need to put a 0 in front, but that doesn't apply in Malta).
