Having lived in Scotland all my life, I never knew that I could find myself LOST in Aberdeenshire.

Have you come across any strange/funny signposts in UK or abroad?

A no high heels sign on the Eiger, which we thought was funny until a load of Japanese women tourists turned up wearing them!
And keep it clean, lol!
Can't find a photograph but there are signs in Dublin, Beware cyclists weaving. I get this impression of a large loom across the handlebars.

I'd love to think they were 'Sand Creek' and 'Chippings', but there's no evidence for that.
Maybe only the Scots on AB will get this but it always amuses me

I found the Dunkirk one interesting, there's a suburb of Aylsham in Norfolk called Dunkirk (I remember it because in commuting in the 60s I used to pick up a passenger there). There don't seem to be any signposts (Normal For Norfolk).
Fugging in Austria used to be called F????ng!
