The Lowry to the palace manchester

I am going to see a performance at the palace but want to pop to the Lowry first for a little shopping
Whats the quickest route? It will be on a sunday

First bit (5 minutes):

Walk in a westerly direction along The Quays
After 60yds, follow The Quays to right
After 300yds arrive at MediaCityUK

Second bit (16 minute journey)
Take the Metrolink tram to St Peters Square

Last bit (6 minutes):

Walk in a south-westerly direction along St Peter's Square
After 35yds, turn left into a minor road
After 16yds, turn left into A34
After 400yds arrive at Palace Theatre.
