I stayed there it is on Cayo Guillermo, i was near bitten to death by mozzies as there had been an extended rainy season.
but the hotel was ok, do not hire the horses for riding as they are skin and bone and look poor.
the lagoon trip is brilliant as you go out on speed boats (i shall put the pic on my avatar if u are on beta you will see it)
The beach is amazing and the water is so shallow right the way out. the hotel next door has a long pier out to a lovely hut on stilts and makes a great photo oportunity.
We went on a catamaran around the island and that was absolutely stunning, we saw a real pirate too.
take lots of brand name stuff like nike caps etc as you can swap them for souvenirs with the locals selling gifts around the pool bar.
The rooms are very good and each block has a roof terrace and you can see way out to sea, and when the thunder storms are on it is great to watch the lightening over the horizon
lots of stray cats but don;t try feeding them
they have real flamingos by the pool too, they are good to watch
