Orange service

Has anyone else had trouble with Orange today ? both my husband's and my phone will not work today, I have tried to send text messages & get the error message & our daughter has tried to send both of us a text to no avail.
I would be interested to hear if anyone else has had a similar experience.
We live in North Yorkshire.

Check the Status of your Mobile it probably just boils down to Signal strength being low or weak.

I had probs last week.
1 txt I sent was returned as error and 2 more were delayed by 2 hours and the other one 15 minutes.

I have tried making a phone call but it comes up " emergency calls only " it's a good job I haven't any importtant calls to make. by the way would car breakdown count as "emergency"

Im always getting problems with my company Orange mobile, so many places it doesnt get a signal where my personel phone (T mobile) does. I live in Northants nothing out of the way and its impossible to get a signal at my home address..

If it claims it can make emergency calls, that suggests you may have a SIM car problem to me. Do your fellow local Orangers have the same problem ? Try removing the SIM card and rubbing it clean.

guess what ? Tues am in Milton Keynes and no Orange signal for over 3 hours !!
