It sounds like some advertising-based malware has found its way onto your computer. If you've already got an anti-malware program (e.g. within a security suite, such as Norton 360, or something else like AdAware or Spybot Search & Destroy), run it now.

If not (or if what you've got doesn't do the trick), download, install & run the free version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware:
http://www.malwarebytes.org/
(It's often recommended to boot your computer into Safe Mode, by pressing F8 during the start-up process, before running that program - but it won't do any harm to try it without using Safe Mode first).

helo again
i have windows firewall
all the ads i keep getting coming from
microsoft internet explorer
can you please tell me how i can run
windows firewall
thanks again
Windows firewall should be running by default:
http://www.microsoft....rity/winfirewall.mspx

But a firewall won't stop adware from getting onto your computer. An occasional scan with AdAware, SpyBot Search & Destroy, Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware, or something similar is always a good idea.

Chris
Did you scan with Malwarebytes as Chris suggested? You will have (accidentally) clicked on a didgy pop up or email link and this has been downloaded to your computer.
