Each time I close Word, I get the message - "an error has occured, send a report to Microsoft, or don't send". I click don't send, but the message appears again. I now check the little box to say "do not try to recover my work" and click "don't sent" and now it clears.
is there anything I can do to stop this happening please

I get that as well, so annoying.
Have you got a HP printer?

Yes I do have an HP Photosmart C4272 printer. Thanks for you reply.
Try changing your default printer to something else, just as a test...

If that cures it then uninstall the HP printer software, download the latest drivers from HPs website and install them, I think they've fixed the problem in the latest drivers.
