What is the difference between plastic and rubber bullets? Would they kill you if they caught in the wrong place? Where can I learn more about them, and other weapons?

As far as I am aware the term 'rubber bullets' has always been inaccurate. My understanding is that 'baton rounds' which is the correct term are slugs of PVC or similar plastic.
