Hi there can anybody help i have just got myself a 500 gb Hitachi portable drive can anyone explain how to transfer files from laptop to portable drive thanks

Drag and drop using Windows Explorer

1) Plug the drive into a free USB port

2) Open Windows Explorer

3) Select the file(s) you want to transfer, right-click and select Cut

4) Select the hard drive, right-click and select Paste

You'll find the hard drive listed in My Computer, follow the above
