I have just purchased a HP all in one printer.

When I print multiple sheets it always prints the last sheet first.

Although this is convenient when picking up the pile of printed sheets the first one is always on the top, but is this normal, because my last printer didn't do this?

Yes, perfectly normal. As you say, it's so you don't have to go through them all resorting them.
It's also 'software dependant' ... In Word, for example, you can choose to 'print in reverse order'.
There are also often options to collate in the printer driver properties that will effect the print order.
With my HP printer you can chose to print the sheets either from Front to Back or from Back To Front and also whether to Collate the sheets or not.
You can also enter the particular number of the sheets you require to be printed. (Sheets 2 to 4, etc.)
