Further to my last stupid question regarding technology http://www.theanswerb...y/Question967660.html

My MacBook keyboard is still knackered and I have decided to get it fixed/replaced. I phoned up a local computer shop and they told me that they are unable to fix Apple computers. I looked in the yellow pages and on-line and there does not appear to be a local computer repair person that does fix Macs.

Am I complicating this situation? I won the MacBook in a competition so have no store to go back to in the hope that they are able to help.

I can work with my spare keyboard plugged into a USB port - but it isn't very practical.

Help

never done a macbook, but I'd give it a crack, I'd imagine any decent independent computer shop would too.

Thanks for the links. I must admit to being very uncertain about fiddling with the laptop. I can't believe that I have managed to kill both my PC and MacBook in one year.

I will look at the links properly when I am fully awake. Not sure when that will be.
