I've come home and somehow my browser went from firefox to http://gb.toolbarhome.com/?hp=df

I have no idea what this browser is and have never heard of it nor like it.There are instructions on how to disable it and I have but yet it remains. Can anyone help me please.
Much appreciated.

Thank you squarebear it was a bit of a shock seeing what looks like a cheap knockoff homepage instead of the usual one I have. Could I just ask you have you heard of that search engine/browser? Sorry if my I.T terms are not up to scratch but I've never seen or heard of Gb.toolbarhome.com and got a little worried that maybe it was a fake one sent to my computer to retrieve bank details etc..
It looks like a search engine but I would imagine that they get a few pennies from any link you click on. I don't think you need to be wary of losing your personal details.

I personally would stick to a more well known and trusted search engine like google or bing.

I do usually but have no idea how this happened and much of the internet and its inner workings are still a mystery to me but I'm getting there.
Thanks for your help.
No problem. Some websites and emails trick you into clicking on links which can hijack your home page. Just need to keep your wits about you and don't click on anything that you think may be suspicious.
