Deleting cookies?

When you go to log in to a site such as facebook and you type the first letter of your email it comes up so you dont have to type the whole thing,but how do you stop those coming up?do you need to delete cookies for the site or something else?

It could be AutoComplete. If you are using IE then you can turn this off.

On IE select Tools then Internet Options then the Content tab.Near the bottom is AutoComplete. Select the Settings button.

Here you can set AutoComplete on or off for various things.

Try turning it off for User names and passwords and see if that makes a difference.

You will need to close and reopen the browser for it to take effect.
