Aaargghhh !

Every page click seems to be bringing up warnings ultimately leading me here:

Same warning from AVG
I had a virus threat warning, I can only assume its the same problem that we had before, something to do with advertising?
I was told a Trojan had been blocked
me too - using mac and safari browser...
warning says the site contains malware software and may damage my computer...

I ignored the warning.. does that make me smart or stupid???
As it's a trusted site, it makes you smart for not blindly believing what a piece of software tells you.
I ignored it too, as advised by my computer expert son.
Threat: Mal/Iframe-Gen
Threat Source: http://ads.silverdisc...1406516104&ukngcat=19
The site contained malicious code and was blocked for your protection.
Return to the page you were previously viewing.

^^^ Says that on the right hand side of this page.
Geez I'm at work and this so called virus froze my computer.
I had to re-boot.
I am sure my technie team are gonna report me!!!!
For the firefox users then if you click tools > options and then click on the security tab and take a tick out of "block suspected attack sites" and click OK the warning won't appear again.

I'd suggest turning it back on tomorrow when the eds have sorted out the problems, but in this case its a false warning.
I have suddenly strted getting the warning "Attack page" whenever I click on a thread and have to click "Ignore this warning" twice to get out of it.
I've just started getting it too. Doing as Chuck suggests above sorts it...

Thanks for that.
Oh, good, glad I'm not the only one. Have had two 'threats' reported by AVG and also a virus. Didn't seem to do any damage. Something must be going on.
Right..............I'm doubtless to make a chump of myself, but.........

I'm using Firefox and at some point, I seem to have misplaced my toolbar.

I have the long header bar with mozilla logo and AB question at LHS and minimise, maximise close at RHS.
Directly underneath I have Back Button, Refresh, Delete, Home, Title bar with a Google search box and ABP button at RHS.

I know that there used to be a 'toolbar underneath' but where it went, and how to bring it back.............I don't know.

And I can't follow Chuck's sage advice (or can I ?) without it............:o(
Nothing to do with your FF toolbar... go to Preferences > Security...
Which is..................?
Thanks chuck for the advice, I was getting really worried!
jack, at the top of screen next to bookmarks.
