Do you have a security system for your home? This could be a simple alarm system which is triggered when doors and windows are broken, Or it could be a elaborate system of infra-red detectors and cameras.

Our current house had an alarm installed when we moved in.

We had an alarm - sensors in al rooms - installed in our previous house after we were burgled.

I live in the middle of a little village, if any one did break into my house I suspect the neighbours would be able to tell me what brand and colour of underwear the burglars were wearing!

i have an alarm system and very noisy neighbours plus i never go away, so try someone elses house, preferably one without a dog. Lol

Yep I have one and would'nt be without it. Feel safer at night knowing its on.

We've got one. Unfortunately when the ex wife left, she changed the code so we can't use it. The BF set it off months ago and the bloody blue light is still flashing. I had two of Peterborough's finest plod knocking on the door (again) last night. So in a fit of temper this morning I told him if he doesn't sort out the fluffing alarm, I am going up the fluffing ladder with a fluffing lump hammer. Funnily enough, the alarm man will be here later today......

I had one installed in my old house after being burgled. Used it for a while but stopped once my youngest started coming downstairs on his own. It's not a nice way to wake up in the morning...

I had an alarm installed after my Daughter was burgled twice in two months, she also had one installed. If I'd ever caught them I would have swung for these evil people. Aaaaaaaargh !!

I have one , and a noisy dog. Why , where I live is rather isolated ,although I live in a village. My home has fields and a woodland around it, so it can be a bit scary at night

AB Ed - no I don't have a home security system.
When you come to burgle me, please try not to make a mess. The family silver is in the third drawer down in the dresser and Mr O keeps his loose change in a jar in the bedroom.

I do have a home security system with infra-red detectors etc which was already in the property when I bought it. However it's not on when I'm at home as the dog sets it off.......I've been waiting 3 months for the maintenance guy to bring new pet friendly sensors.

One's butler releases the dogs into the grounds at night and only feeds them in the morning if they are still hungry.
