I'm after a pair of easy to drive lightweight 'on ear' (rather than 'in ear' or 'over ear') closed back headphones to use with my mp3 player and laptop.

Currently I have my eye on Sennheisser's HD228s. Looking for other user recommendations within my budget of around £60.

I like Sennheiser but I can't recommend a pair of the sort you want, having no experience of them.
However, if you buy the headphones online you can return them for a full refund by giving notice that within 7 days of receipt you will return them.
A sort of free trial.
