My phone is coming up for renewal very soon and not being technically minded I don't know what to go
for, people keep telling me that I should get either an Iphone or an Android phone (whatever that is)
but what is the difference between them & what would be best to get?

the first thing you need to ask yourself is wot you want a mobile to do for you??pictures,e-mails or music so on,so tick wot you want and go from there..good luck.
Yes - what do you want it to do? the last time I was due an upgrade on my phone, the girl said "you can have an i-phone or a Blackberry" but I don't want either. I want a mobile phone which I can use for:
phone calls
texts
occasional emails
camera
that's all, I don't download, surf the net on my phone , or play music, play radio, play games, so I don't need half the stuff some of these phones offer.
Check out what you want to use the phone for - just get something which does those things well, rather than one with bells and whistles just for the sake of it!

Thank you both for sensible advice
The posters on here are correct.

Remember the newer the phone and the more technologicaly "advanced" the more you pay for the contract.

What do you need it for jot that down and buy accordingly.

I have an android phone that gives you apps etc it was fun for a month don't use them anymore. Just use it for phoning, messaging and internet (sports results)
