unlocking phone

evening all,
im coming to the end of my vodafone mobile phone contract and concidering trying asdas payg.
will i need to get my phone unlocked? how do i do it? and how much does it cost? are there any places that can do it cheap?

ive seen on a certain 'online auction' site advertising unlocking software cheap - should i avoid these do you reckon?

I phone up o2 and say I want to use my phone with my sim card from work and they give me the unlock code for free.

maybe not adsa mobile is part of vodaphone network
my tesco sim worked in my o2 N70 as they part of that network

I had a Voafone PAYG. I got an ASDA sim put it in and it worked right away. I think ASDA use Vodafone's syste.
My daughter did the same, simply changed cards and it worked.

Get the unlock code here in this site mention below & unlock the mobile in easier way .
I used this site http://www.theunlocka...lock...phone/rs13wp2/ for unlocking the mobile , it provides unlock code , using that i unlocked the mobile & got nice solution.
It worked out great .
