Is the Sony NEX-5 camera worth buying?

I'm really interested in the Sony NEX-5 camera. I dont know much if anything about photography but would love to take semi profeesional looking photos which is easy to use. From all the reviews this camera seems to be brilliant and really easy to use. Has anyone got this camera or think its any good. Think its the worlds smallest compact digital camera with DLSR style picture quality. Let me know ya thoughts. Thanks.
