if the World Cup is decided by majority vote, yes.
I don't think you can compare the two.
I think the answer is 'yes'. The world hates us in this contest, but strangely they all want to come and live here don't they?!!
The voting last night was ridiculous - it's not a song competition it's beg a my neighbour
*beggar* my neighbour...
I don't think they hate us. I wouldn't have given the UK any points either. It was a broccoli entry.

The rest of Europe seem to take this competition seriously...whereas the UK doesn't. Wogan took the p1ss every year....and Graham Norton is doing the same.

We don't actually want to win....to expensive to host.
Or given what ummm has said - if you win - b uggar my neighbour
we've won the right to hold the Olympics, that will beggar us quite enough for a while.

And we might get the World Cup soon. That's going to cost us a few bob.
That makes more sense - they hate their neighbours and want to put then through a lot of needless expense
True.....but those events also bring in revenue.

How can a country make money for hosting the eurovision?
So Germany is the most hated country...lol

And the UK are the most liked...!!

I think Ireland hosted it three times in a row. They're nearly bankrupt now. Not sure if those two events are connected, though.
They tried not to win it though.....
Our song was rubbish and the singer sounded out of tune. I thought Turkeys was good and the first song.
we were lucky to come last. It was a really awful "song"
I thought germanys was good until she started talking - I totally agreedwith graham norton there - if I'd voted for her I would have wanted to take it back immediately

Why do we always (in recent years) use unknown amateur singers in this event.
All our winners have been top performers.
Status Quo next year ? they would walk it.
