TV from Aldi PVR Ready?

There is a TV on sale at Aldi on Sunday that says it is PVR ready. It has a USB port. Can anyone explain how this works ie would the recordings be on a USB stick that you can then transfer to watch on a computer, etc, or any other TV with a USB port? Can you forward set a recording on it, or does it mean you can just record manually? We have a Humax PVR which is excellent, but you are limited to watching it on the TV to which it is connected.
