Have had this for years but am very fond of it however, the cd player isn't working. When I put a cd in, it just spins and spins and won't stop so I can play it. Any help will be much appreciated.

Any disc? If all discs same, I would think laser has gone .. sorry.

It could be that the disc is damaged ..if just one disc will not play.
Check it for scratches/marks .. especially at the innermost point outside the hub.
