ipod/itunes playlists onto new PC

Hi I have a new laptop and have copied across all my songs from teh itunes folder. How do I copy across the playlists that I have made. The new laptop is showing the ipod as being new to the machine and therefore wants to go over the songs. I need them to remain on ipod as the playlists. Is there a file that contains this info so I can copy it across without having to set up all 700 songs back into the playlist.

I have copied across the dat file and the xml file but neither seem to have the playlist files. Please help Thanks
