I have just got V+ box from Virgin Media installed. My TV says HDMI/HD Ready on it and yet the connection doesnt fit anywhere in the TV!
The HDMI cable has what looks like a USB on the end and my TV doesnt have a socket for this to fit into - what do I need to buy? Can I get something that has that connection on one end and a scart on the other? Am confused.com!

What model of TV is it? Make and Model that is.
If your TV is HD ready it will have a HDMI socket somewhere. Have a look at the documentaton that came with the TV.

A HDMI cable does look a bit lke a USB cable, see here

TV is an Evesham V37MCGI, I think they have ripped me off because we have checked the TV and there is definitely no socket to put an HDMI cable into! All I have is scart sockets and the small round holes that you use for a game console ie red/yellow/white leads so not sure what I can do
I am not sure if it is the same model but I have found a manual for a Tatung V37MCGI TV and the HDMI socket looks like it is behind a panel on the back on the left hand side looking at the back of the TV.

There is a link on the page above for manual.

Hope this helps.
