New laptop

My laptop has just died and I would like to get a new one for about £300-£400.I have been looking at the Advent Roma 2001 - any other ideas ?

Buy any other brand, you'll do well to avoid Advent & Ei systems computers they are PC World's own brand.

Also advise do not buy Dell laptops - they have a lot of probs - Dell tower pkges are great tho'
