downloading music from pc to mobile

i have ripped my cd collection to my pc and am trying to now download it to my mobile phone. it transfers ok, but when i try to play it on my mobile, it says i cant as the licence has expired, but i originally purchased the cds last month. is it a problem with my pc or phone? is there some settings i can alter to allow it to work? please help as i am unable to listen to my fave tunes on the go!

Which program did you use to do the rip? At a guess, you allowed it to install DRM on the music (Windows Media Player does this by default). Try a different program (I use Audiograbber - it's free). Other options are that you have a lot of music from Sony (notorious for their draconian DRM) or that the music player on your phone has some sort of license requirement.
