If you dont need a tune up then it does not matter if it is a scam or not.

Personally I think many of these "tune up" utilities are a con and dont do any more than can be done by any PC user.

Save your money.

I think I agree, VHG, so thanks.
There are plenty of free programs for maintenance/tune-ups so there's never a need to pay for any such things.

e.g. one that I've used for the last couple of years is Advanced Systemcare http://www.iobit.com/...per.html?Str=download - apart from general system maintenance it also includes several separate utilities for optimising your internet connection, cleaning memory etc.

As with any software of that type you should always make sure that you have backed up your important files before using it, until you are happy that it is trustworthy (which I have always found Advanced Systemcare to be)

I`ll have a look at that bibbles, thanks to you also.
you're welcome and I hope you find it as useful as I have

$19.95 for a full job? and only two ticks for the cheaper version. As my PC is working fine with Avira, I`ll leave alone, I think.
I agree with bibblebub. Advanced System Care is a great clean up utility and best of all it's free. I have used it for some time too.
