Yes, you don't need the force (mass x acceleration) - you need mass x distance

Ignore me- I shouldn't try to recall Maths from over 30 years ago after a bottle of wine. The moment of a force about a point P is found by multiplying the magnitude of the force (F) and the perpendicular distance (x) to the point of application. The force in maths questions is normally mass x acceleration due to gravity
