I have firefox\installed and like it very much. But on several sites I have used different identities ( not on here - no need ) and I now have a drop down menu of the different names useed. There is a possibility that others might use my computer over the holidays and I dont want the seeing my 'identities' on commonly used siters. How can I delete these entries. I dont want to get rid of everything -just selected ones.

Hi Ian and thanks for the answer .I realised on reading it that that was not exactly what I meant ( late night posting + wine didnt make it easy) -but it led me to the right conclusion. What I really wanted was to get rid of entries in drop down menus - not just the passwords. I looked on firefox community help and found it.For anyone else it is....Highlight it WITHOUT CLICKING and use Shift+Delete -easy peasy.
