Can I block certain numbers from texting me on a Nokia 3310

I'm getting some really annoying texts from an acquaintance I'd rather not be acquainted with.  Can I block texts just from his number on my Nokia 3310?

I don't think you can block incoming texts, but you can certainly ask your network provider to block texts from a user if they are a nuisance. However, it depends on your definition of "annoying". Do you mean just lame jokes and useless stuff, or are you talking about threats, intimidation, abuse etc?

As far as I'm aware (not 100% sure though) you have to go through the nuisance calls bureau to stop a certain number texting you. Then they have to investigate it etc etc before they block it. Just delete the texts and he/she should get the message.

Ask the person to stop texting you? That sounds a bit simpler than getting the CIA involved
