bob, i wonder the same thing. The only thing i can imagine is some sad pathetic individual writes the virus and probly fires it off. I cant see what they can gain by infringing peoples PC's. Also, i thing a lot of this probly come from thos annoying emails we all get - "Forward this to 1,000 people and youll recieve good luck!" Good luck my a*se. More like a 'confirmed active' notification for spammers for the mug that does forward it! Sorry, but all these spyware, virus things really annoy me! lol

me too i really do not see the point i just wonder are they ordinary people with a normal life or do you have to be emotionally stunted to go to the bother
I read that everytime you log on to the net, on average, someone/something tries to harm or tap into your PC about 5-10 times per hour. And, that 50% of all email across the globe is spam! Think how fast the net would be without all the rubbish running about everywhere!

yea and what gets me is when you buy a pc you have to fork out an extra 50 quid for anti virus software it should be on all systems as standard i dont think the powers that be are doing any where near enough
You never know, perhaps the antivirus creators also create the viruses causing us all to buy their products!
