Not a question just a rant. BF has gone out. He said he feels that the walls are closing in on him (despite the fact that he went out yesterday and today, whereas I have left the house only to deliver jump leads to him yesterday - otherwise I have been home working) and he has left me alone with number one daughter tonight. We had a nice tea and she watched Waterloo Road. Now she wants to watch a DVD. But all we get is a blue screen of death and no dvd!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would text him, but I confiscated his phone after his ex started sending *** messages which were winding him up! We can't work the bloody stereo either.

I hate to say this, but I really want a man right now.

Lol Poodi - at the moment no. Myself and No 1 Daughter considered it a triumph that we had managed to get the dvd to do "open and close".

Crafty - tried that!

Mark - Peterborough is not really "north London" - although some would argue with me.

We still have blue screen of death. And about 14 different controls. I am going to text his friend and ask him!!!!

Don't worry kunni - it was in jest. I am more annoyed with myself that I can't work the dvd/tv/stereo/mission control nor that I can find the backgammon set to entertain No1D!
checked your scart leads?
Barmaid... you are a lovely, intelligent and desirable young woman. And you also seemed happier before you met this guy.
No indeed - Peterborough's a bit of a schlep. Don't think I'm really "knight in shining armour" material anyway, and I've had far too much to drink to jump in the car...
may I be honest BM?

That's because I was always pissed NoM!!!!!!! Seriously, he is lovely, I just have minor difficulties in not being selfish like I used to be. Most of the time we laugh - and the rest of the time he just leaves very quickly!!!!!

Mark - nice thought and yes, Peterborough is a schlep.

Craft - you what?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Go ahead Chuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
er the scart lead which connects the DVD player to the TV?
Question Author
Nice thought Craft, but I ain't doing wires. It worked OK earlier when HE (oh god of TV and all electrical) was present. We just don't know what buttons to press.
Just a thought BM.......mine's come loose a couple of times after the cleaner has been dusting. It's not a wire it's a bloody thick cable directly connecting the TV and DVD player.....just make sure it's not loose....
