I'm thinking about buying a Digital Camera, what is the best media? XD, SD, Memory Stick etc.... Pros and Cons of each?

Unless you are a proffessional photographer there aren't many differences to the end consumer.

However Memory stick is a proprietory format from Sony, and is therefore more expensive to buy.

The most widely used and often cheapest are SD cards and then Compact Flash.

I'd go for SD myself, it's small, cheap and compatible with lots of other things too.

My newer Fuji has xD - the blurb says its becasue it will have a higher capacity (will go up to 6GB) and aslo it uses less power, and hence your batterys last longer.

Not sure of transfer rates though.

Hope this helps
