Wireless connection problem

I turned of security and it woked fine, tried it with WPA/WEP etc and it just kept getting a timeout, any ideas how I can get this working. Router is a Belkin54G, thanks

I know this is a silly notion, but are you absolutely certain that the password/passphrase you are using to connect is identical to the one you set on the router ? By identical I mean the same upper and lower case characters as well as any numbers - to the router Tweedledee is NOT the same as tweedledee

yes because when I get it wrong it says so.

I'm getting "unable to connect due to timeout"
Had the same problem myself with the same router...

Just keep trying. Go to the settings on your network connections and try unchecking things or changing the options. Not very scientific advice I know but it worked for me. Eventually.

At least you know that the wireless itself works, it's just the security that's keeping you out.
