Computer Program

I have some old photos of some people in our local pub that I want to edit, basically I want to be able to take the head off of one person and put it on to another it also needs to be idiot proof as I only know computer basics, I used to have a program many years ago that did this called adobe photo deluxe 1 but it has long gone, can anybody recommend a program (preferably free or trial version) that I can download that will do this?
