Hi there,
I am looking to buy a laptop for around 300 - 400. Would anyone be able to give me an idea on what brand to go for?? Or any specific laptop?
I only want to do pretty basic things on the laptop. Internet...word processing...games...watch movies...play music. Nothing too exciting!

Any help would be fab cause i have NO idea!!

Thank you!

If you are going to be carrying it around a lot size and weight matters, if not then the bigger the better.
Do you need a long battery life or will you be mostly running it off the mains?
This looks a good buy.

I've just noticed you want to play games. Laptops don't make great gaming machines if you play high end, resource hungry games.

I will obviously have to carry it around now and again but not much!

And as for the games... they wont be big high end games. And if it would be a pain to play them on the laptop, I also have a desktop that I currently play them on.
The one I linked to is more than good enough, then.
